The art of perfumery, or ‘Attar’ in Arabic, is one of the world’s oldest and most revered crafts. Our story intertwines with the history of perfume itself, originating in the Arab Peninsula. The journey of Gabas Oud began with the historical trade expeditions of the Quraish, who traveled north to Al-Sham in summer and south to Yemen in winter, spreading the influence of Islamic culture and, with it, the art of perfumery.
